FREE INTERCULTURAL MEDIATOR COURSE
The Nuova Frontiere Lavoro S.p.A., in collaboration with the training institution “Idee Insieme”, presents the free online course in Intercultural Mediator in French at level A2.
The course aims to train a professional who, as the definition itself says, is able to “mediate between cultures”, favoring the interaction and dialogue between people of different languages and cultures and promoting inclusion social welfare of foreigners.
The intercultural mediator acts as an interpreter and intervenes in various areas: education, health, justice, public administration, safety and hospitality, as well as in the private non-profit system.
The course aims to offer the language skills appropriate to the professional figure indicated, returning to an A2 level of linguistic preparation of the CEFR.
Once the training course has been completed, students will be able to interface with French-speaking immigrants from African countries and will have acquired skills such as welcoming asylum seekers and filling in forms and documents, basic legal and health information, just to name a few.
The course is totally free, financed through contributions from the Forma.Temp fund.
TRAINING OFFER
The training course consists of the following modules:
MODULE 1.1: French level A2;
MODULE 2.2: Tasks and functions of the intercultural mediator – contextual simulations;
MODULE 3.3: Rights and duties of temporary workers;
MODULE 4.4: Health and safety in the workplace.
RECIPIENTS
The free online course in Intercultural Mediator in French is aimed at jobseekers who are unemployed or unemployed, enrolled and selected by the Employment Agency.
Furthermore, participants must meet the following requirements:
for foreigners: knowledge of the Italian language and grammar, even if not certified;
have a fixed PC (desktop), laptop or tablet with stable connection via cable (LAN) or wi-fi, webcam and microphone.
COURSE DEVELOPMENT AND DURATION
The lessons will take place online in virtual classroom mode. The start is scheduled for May 2, 2022, ending on June 17, 2022, for a total of 140 hours. Participants will be engaged on the following days and times: from Monday to Friday from 09.30 to 13.30 and for two days also from 14.00 to 18.00.
SELECTION
It should be noted that there will be a selection of candidates according to the following preliminary steps:
correct sending of the requested documentation;
analysis of the curriculum sent;
verification of the connection devices to be made in videoconference.

CERTIFICATE
At the end of the course, a certificate of attendance will be issued to participants who have reached at least 70% of the total hours including attendance at compulsory lessons.

Ideas Together is a training center located in the center of Naples. It is accredited to the Campania Region, Formatemp and Eipass. It works in close collaboration with the job agency Nuove Frontiere Lavoro S.p.A.
New Frontiere Lavoro S.p.A. is an Italian employment agency. It has been active in the temporary labor sector since 2006 and offers various services, including: labor administration, occupational safety, professional training, business and strategic consultancy.
